On behalf of my family and from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank the whole parish community of St. Charles Borromeo for an unbelievable send off last Sunday. Words truly cannot describe the outpouring of love and support that I received from the good people of this parish and I am overwhelmed and filled with emotion. Once again, I thank Msgr. Tracy for his priestly example and his friendship, as well as giving me the opportunity to say goodbye to the people that I love. Also too, I would be remiss if I didn’t thank the amazing staff of St. Charles. They are a wonderful group of individuals who are the backbone of this parish and work so hard to help us worship God through His Church. In a special way, I would like to give my heartfelt appreciation to all those responsible in putting together my Mass of Thanksgiving and the following reception. Special thanks must go to the choir and Jo Jo Jordan for giving glory to our Lord in song. And I am totally blown away by the yeoman-like effort of those individuals who set-up and served my reception. Events such as these take a lot of planning, coordination and effort and I can never repay the kindness shown to my family and I by these loving and caring people. Please continue to pray for me as I pack (and clean!!!) and prepare for my journey to the Eternal City in a few short weeks!
