PROTOCOL FOR NEW REGISTRANTS
Over the past couple of years hundreds of new families have registered in St. Charles Borromeo Parish. We are delighted to welcome all and hope that each family and person becomes actively involved with Sunday Liturgy and the life of the parish.
When a person comes to the Parish Center to register a packet of information about the parish will be provided but the actual registration will not take place until the person or family has attended a Welcome Orientation during which a video of St. Charles Borromeo clergy and parishioners explaining different features about the parish is shown.Members of the parish staff and ministry leaders also explain what we have to offer and what is expected of new parishioners.
The Welcome Orientation for new registrants takes place on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 10:00AM with refreshments and concluding at 10:45AM. This provides the person or family the opportunity of attending either the 9:00AM or 11:00AM Mass.
Our entire parish is delighted to welcome all new parishioners.
Our hope is that all parishioners will be actively engaged in the parish. One is actively engaged when he/she (all family members) attends Mass regularly and consistently, gives regularly to the parish, is actively involved in one or more ministries, sees the parish as an integral part of their lives, and has a basic understanding of "stewardship".
