St. Charles Borromeo Parish has a very active Pastoral Council. It is composed of sixteen members. Nine are elected and seven are appointed. The term is for three years and it is done in a staggered fashion. Every year three Members At Large are replaced so that more people will have the opportunity to serve.

The Constitution of the Parish Pastoral Council stipulates a process for the selection of new members. First, present members of the Council, on a particular Sunday in March, speak at all Masses to invite nominations. Those who are nominated are personally contacted to see if they are willing to serve. If they put their name up for nomination, they complete a form stating why they want to serve and what gifts they feel they would bring to the Council. The actual selection is done by lot, the process used in the early Church

Our Parish Pastoral Council pledges to continue to work on behalf of our parishioners. If anyone would like to offer suggestions about our parish, please contact any of the Council members.
