Dear Friends,
My love and gratitude to the parish family of St. Charles Borromeo continue to grow as I recall and relive my days of ministry among you. It has been a privilege to work with Msgr. Tracy, Father Jim, Deacons Joe B. and Joe C, Dee and Rich D’Orazio, Mary Ann Exler and Regina Sillitti. This Staff, together with the support staff of office and maintenance, form a choice blend of complementary gifts which they use together, spreading the Good News and enabling the growth of many and varied ministries for the good of all.
I want to express gratitude to the Pastoral Council and all Liturgical and Outreach Ministries with whom I have worked from time to time. I thank the Music Ministry and Choir for sharing your faith, intelligence and musical talent so generously.
I know many parishioners by name. Many more are nameless to me; however, I have had the privilege of seeing you gathered here for Mass and witnessed your outpouring of goodness to the needy. Finally, I thank all who were present last Sunday for the celebration of prayer and personal blessing as I leave St. Charles and respond to God’s call to liturgical music ministry at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown, PA. (This seven-story facility serves the infirm and retired Sisters of St. Joseph and a number of laity as well.)
I am overwhelmed by your thoughtful and generous gifts and good wishes. I will miss you but I will not forget you. I promise to pray for you and ask that you do the same for me.
