House of Charity Needs You
Countless numbers of people have found help and meaning in their lives through the charitable gifts of parishioners over the past thirty years under the embrace of the House of Charity.
No matter how well off or poor we are, we all have the responsibility to give to those less fortunate than ourselves. In March of each year, the House of Charity reaches out to every family in the parish and encourages them to support financially this most worthy cause. We are hoping that every family will make a sacrificial contribution. If we are Christians we can do no less. Jesus said, “Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers and sisters, you do it for me.”

Campaign 2006
Parish Financial Goal: $106,000
Joe and Gilda Petrongolo will continue as chairpersons for this year's campaign.
To date (8/3/2006) we have received over $149000 in contributions from 575 families, an average gift of $260. Thank you for your generosity.
We have approximately 59 families who contribute to the campaign through the United Way and Public Employee Charitable Campaigns. We do not receive a total of the monies pledged until the end of the campaign. Historically, these families have contributed over $11000 through their payroll deduction programs.
Parishioners who give through United Way should indicate the amount and that they gave through payroll deduction in their workplace. The parish will receive credit if you indicate House of Charity/Bishop's Annual Appeal/St. Charles Borromeo Parish on your contribution form
